He is still only 27 and plays capable defense behind the plate, so I’m sure there are a number of organizations that would be happy to have him as depth. That could be that for former top prospect Joey Bart, who just never hit in the big leagues with the Giants ( remember those rumors about the Kris Bryant trade? good thing that didn’t happen!).
